MEET FRIENDS IN LAS VEGAS -- April 2008
In April 2008, I made a road trip with my family to the West USA.
We arrived at San Francisco and stayed two days visiting the town and the famous Golden Gate Bridge.
After the two days, we drove down to Gilroy/Monterey and stayed overnight.
We continued our trip south on High Way 1 along the pacific sea. The view is fabulous!
We made a stop at Moro Bay for the night. After a good sleep, we continued the road until Los Angeles (Hollywood, Beverly Hills). We then went to Anaheim, Mikey's house :-)) Kids always enjoyed the visit to Disney land (Los Angeles).
We stayed two nights in Anaheim and then continued the visit to Joshua Tree National Park beofre going to Las Vegas where I meet Samphal and Sophorn.
From Las Vegas, we visited Grand Canyon and Death Valley National Park.
In total, we drove about 4 000 miles (6 000 kms) for whole trip.

We made a stop in Las Vegas to visit the town and to see our old friends from the camp: Samphal and Sophorn. Kids were greatly appreciated staying some days at the friends' house. They enjoyed playing with Samphal & Sophorn kids.

We went together to visit Grand Canyon (South rim -- Arizona State) -- 5 hours drive from Las Vegas (one way).
